Alicia Zabrocki
Alicia is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana. She and her husband, Doug, own Pilates Center of Chicago since 2007 to present. Center of Chicago is a continuing education facility for certified instructors and values creating relationships in the community. Alicia was formerly a senior Power Pilates Teacher Trainer, teaching certification programs nationally and internationally for Power Pilates from 2002-2011.

Doug Zabrocki is the owner of Pilates Center of Chicago,with his wife, Alicia. Doug was the owner of The Pilates Center of the Southwest in Scottsdale, Arizona, a Power Pilates Affiliate Training Center 2002-2007. Doug was previously a senior level Power Pilates Teacher Trainer, traveling nationally from 2002 – 2011.

Megan Toepke
Megan first encountered Pilates as a teen in conjunction with ballet class, but didn’t truly experience its magic until her early 20′s, when her exercise regime left her with debilitating back pain. She revisited Pilates, and found that with regular practice, her back pain diminished, and she was able to participate in all the activities she loved.

Mary Kawooya
Mary Breffeilh’s Pilates education began as a complement to her dance training. Eventually, she took a hiatus from dance to aggressively pursue serious training in the method of Power Pilates. By 2008, Mary obtained full mat and equipment trainer certification in Power Pilates. Ever since, she has been teaching Power Pilates within the Chicagoland area.

Laura Martinelli
Laura Martinelli, originally from New Jersey, has a BFA from The University of Vermont, and spent 15 years as a graphic designer. She is a certified Power Pilates instructor teaching private, semi-private, mat, and group Pilates classes. She was introduced to Pilates in 2004 after the birth of her second son and wanted to fight off her baby bulge.

Tiffany Alastanos
Tiffany Alastanos, originally from Bridgeport, WV, graduated in 2009 from Ohio University with a BFA in Dance and a BS in Actuarial Science. She first encountered Pilates as a way to gain core strength to improve her dancing while in college. Seeing how much she benefited from Pilates, she pursued mat certification at the beginner and intermediate levels through Power Pilates and has been teaching since 2008.

Stephanie Thomas
Stephanie Thomas, a Wyoming native, graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2009 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance Performance and a minor in Drawing. As part of the dance curriculum, classes such as Pilates, Kinesiology, Anatomy, and Physiology piqued her interest in structure and movement. From then on, Stephanie became passionate about applying that knowledge since it so positively affected her strength as a dancer.
