Pilates Mat Class 

 

Pilates Mat: This is the foundation of the Pilates system consisting of floor (mat) work and small props; magic circle, weights, foam roller, therabands, balls, etc. Pilates mat work is a great way to challenge your body with gravity and controlled movements. Great for someone new to Pilates!

Special Details: Pilates Mat packages/classes cannot be used towards pilates reformer/tower class packages. Pilates classes vary according to the schedule. All pilates classes are 55min. Cancellation of scheduled sessions or classes must be made within 24 hours of appointment time, or clients will be charged a late fee.  Packages expire within 6 months of purchase date and are nonrefundable.

 


Pilates Group Equipment Classes 

(PLEASE NOTE: You must have permission by instructor and previous pilates apparatus experience to enroll.)

 

Pilates Reformer/Tower Class: This class is a dynamic workout challenge through the combination of the pilates reformer sequence and the cadillac/wall unit exercises. This workout gives you a total body workout from the support of the springs, to resistance to challenge in different planes of gravity. You will feel invigorated, stretched, and ready for anything after taking this class! Space is limited. Reserve your spot now! (4 clients/class).

Pilates Tower Class: This group class incorporates the use of the Wall Unit (Tower) along with pilates mat work. This workout keeps you the great balance of stretch, for your entire body, through incredible strength of your core utilizing the different springs from lying to standing positions. Be prepared for a challenging workout! You may enhance your practice for the tower class through private, semiprivate sessions, and mat classes. Space is limited (5 clients/class).

Advanced Pilates Series: Are you a seasoned pilates practitioner or a certified instructor wanting a challenge or to take your pilates to the next level? This class is a constant challenge on different apparatus each class. Clients will be challenged, not only with advanced choreography, but concepts and challenges of basic to advanced exercises. (4 clients/class).

Intermediate CORE Series: Experience the integrative approach to Pilates! This class lets you explore how mat, reformer, cadillac/tower, and chair are used in a session to create a full body, balanced workout. Learn how some exercises can be done all over the studio, on different apparatus, and each variation deepens your understanding of the movement and muscle engagement needed to achieve it. (4 clients/class).

 

 

Intermediate Reformer: Take your Reformer workout to the next level. This intermediate level class is designed to help clients make the leap from novice to connoisseur! You will be lead through each reformer exercise and break it down from set-up through its’ progression. This class will help prepare you to jump into any Open Group Equipment class offered at the PCC! (4 clients/class).
