Presented by: Carrie Gaynor
Carrie Gaynor teaches Anatomy Trains and KMI courses using a unique teaching philosophy learned during her nursing education at the University of Rochester (1993). Carrie synthesizes years of direct study with Tom Myers (1999), her KMI clinical practice (2003), Kinesis faculty appointment (2006), and research interests into her teaching. Carrie, who additionally co-directs ABSOLUTE Yoga & Wellness, integrates movement into the classroom, linking form and function, inspired by nearly two decades of Yoga practice, teaching and therapeutics.

Anatomy Trains courses completely transform your view of myofascial anatomy and enable you to make distinct changes in your clients’ movement patterns!

Pilates Center of Chicago is a certified training and continuing education facility for Pilates & Xtend Barre.

Learning is an ongoing process, and completing a training program is only the first step to becoming a quality instructor. Certified instructors are required to complete a certain number of continuing education courses  to maintain their certificate. These courses allow instructors to review the principles and exercises learned during education; explore topics not covered during their program; refine their teaching skills; and, most importantly, maintain the integrity of the method. Pilates Center of Chicago has partnered with other community resources to offer a variety of continuing education opportunities for certified instructors.
